Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Gainesville, Florida. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care, performing nursing assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. The RN supervises other nursing personnel and participates in patient education and discharge planning.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift. Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to first shift (CIRH only). A minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience, with at least one year of ICU experience preferred. No specific experience requirement listed for this position.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a progressive care environment, strong clinical assessment skills, and effective patient education abilities.
• Additional Information: The RN performs comprehensive patient assessments within 8 hours of admission, participates in patient rehabilitation programs, and initiates discharge planning from the day of admission.
