Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Seattle, WA. This position involves supporting surgical procedures with a focus on orthopedic cases, utilizing strong clinical skills, particularly in Orthopedic Surgery. The role includes day shifts, call duties approximately once per weekday and once a month on weekends, and requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 5/8s (0645-1515) with call; minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active BLS certification; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; valid license to submit; willing to wait for licensing; experience working in an acute care division.

• Additional Information: Must handle orthopedic case loads averaging 15 cases per day, with some days starting with fewer cases and taking add-ons. No scrub color provided. No tele OR nurse requirement; anesthesia to read. Surgeons on call at night. RT available 24/7, pharmacy available till 11 pm. Floating may be required based on skill set, with a maximum of 3 days for orientation depending on experience. Certification in BLS required; ACLS preferred. Seeking a candidate with a positive attitude and team player mentality, with Robotics experience or willingness to learn.
