Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Nurse Fargo, North Dakota. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a high-volume, Level 2 or higher hospital setting. The position requires performing a variety of cardiac procedures, including cardiac catheterizations with interventions, device implants, peripheral vascular interventions, stroke management, structural heart procedures, and care for STEMI and stroke patients.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour day shifts Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities every 2-3 weekends and one night per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active ND or Compact RN license (willing to obtain), BLS certification from the American Heart Association, ACLS certification from the American Heart Association, at least 2 years of cath lab experience, preferred critical care experience (ICU), and experience with computerized charting systems such as EPIC, CUPID, GE MAC LAB, among others.
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working within a hospital setting providing interventional cardiac care.
- Additional Information: Must be comfortable administering conscious sedation, managing a wide variety of cardiac and vascular procedures, and working with specialized equipment such as balloon pumps, IMPELLA, Angiovac, FFR, and IVUS. floating to other units/departments is possible, and badge-in/out is required at the facility. Scrub color is provided as "Ceil Blue." Appropriate interview times should be provided for timely scheduling.
- The submission must note if the clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health; if so, the end date of employment must be at least 6 months prior to submission.
