Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurses are needed for a healthcare organization in Marshalltown, Iowa. This position involves providing care to telemetry and post-operative surgical patients, including orthopedic and general surgery cases. The role requires reading and measuring telemetry strips and managing patients with various drips and medications in a hospital or medical center setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• On-Call: None
• Required Qualifications: 24 months of current Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing experience, active Iowa (IA) license or multi-state license, skills specific to Medical Surgical and Telemetry, BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association or ARC/Red Cross, EPIC charting experience preferred, infusion drip experience with insulin, Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone.
• Preferred Qualifications: Telemetry experience and reading telemetry strips, orthopedic/orthopedic, or general surgery care experience, EPIC charting experience, current nursing license in Iowa or multi-state certification.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must submit a resume showing 24 months of current Med Surg/Tele experience, have an active Iowa or multistate license, and include professional references and a drivers license.
