Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse, L&D Department Located within a healthcare facility, this position involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery setting. The role includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and executing delegated medical functions in accordance with state nursing standards.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) or higher from an accredited nursing school, current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and at least 2 years of nursing experience in a labor and delivery setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing and certification as appropriate for the unit or service are preferred.
• Responsibilities include performing independent nursing functions, evaluating health status, providing health teaching and counseling, executing delegated medical functions, and documenting care plans according to regulatory guidelines.
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications.
• May be required to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
