Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Palo Alto, California. This position involves providing high-quality patient care within the operating room environment, adhering to evidence-based practices, hospital policies, and regulatory standards. The OR Nurse will collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety, effective surgical procedures, and optimal recovery outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 10 hours per shift, requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: CA Registered Nurse (RN) license, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in operating room nursing or surgical services.
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for assessing patients pre-operatively, assisting during surgical procedures, and providing post-operative care. The role requires effective communication skills, the ability to respond quickly to emergency situations, and the capacity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
