Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Stanford, California. This role involves providing comprehensive, evidence-based critical care to patients in the ICU setting. The qualified candidate will assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver family-centered, high-quality care while adhering to regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, 0+ years of experience, current licensure and certification in good standing, ability to communicate effectively in English
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior ICU experience and familiarity with evidence-based practices in critical care settings
• Additional Information: The RN will monitor patient conditions closely, interpret clinical data, and respond appropriately to emergent situations. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care coordination, patient and family education, and participation in continuous quality improvement activities. The role requires effective communication, leadership abilities, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
