Job Summary:
Operating Room Technician (ORT) New Braunfels, TX. This full-time position involves assisting in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients in adult and pediatric populations. The role emphasizes maintaining sterile techniques, supporting intraoperative procedures, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout surgical cases. Experience with robotic surgeries is highly preferred.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week starting 08/10/2026
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of a Surgical Technology program or an accredited LVN/LPN program; BLS (American Heart Association) certification; Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN licensure; 2 or more years of experience preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotic surgeries highly preferred
• Additional Information: Performs technical duties to assist with pre-operative patient care, prepares the operating room with instruments and supplies, establishes and maintains sterile fields, and assists surgeons during procedures. Follows facility policies regarding sterilization, infection control, and patient safety. Demonstrates expertise in the use and care of surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques and universal precautions.
