Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) position in Houston, Texas. This role involves providing specialized care within a setting similar to a Catheterization Laboratory, focusing on interventional radiology, critical care, and procedural patient management. The RN will work with outpatient scheduling while being prepared to handle additional patient needs as they arise, requiring flexibility and a capacity to manage busy shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, variable 4x10s shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with one day per month (sometimes two days) of call coverage per rotation, totaling approximately 10 hours per shift.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ACLS certification, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), at least 2 years of clinical experience, and knowledge of radiology nursing, ICU, or emergency room care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with interventional medicine, moderate sedation, PICC line, anesthesia care, and familiarity with electronic charting systems such as EPIC.
• Additional Information: The role requires flexibility with scheduling and the ability to manage a busy clinical environment. Daily parking is available with options ranging from $15+ per day to monthly passes from $95 to $120.
