Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in a healthcare facility located in Castro Valley, California. This role involves managing and coordinating surgical patient care, providing specialized treatments, and working collaboratively with the health team. The position requires on-call availability, weekend coverage, and adherence to professional nursing standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days; Shift hours are 8 hours with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), CNOR (Credentialing Nurse Operating Room), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support); minimum of 2 years of travel experience, 3 or more years of general nursing experience; experience with surgical procedures including general, ortho, vascular, trauma, and neuro cases.
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience, community hospital experience, LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) experience, Trauma Level I and II experience.
• Additional Information: The role requires the ability to work with bodily fluids, handle emergency or crisis situations, and maintain high safety standards. The candidate must have experience with complex surgical procedures and the capacity to operate in a high-risk, variable environment.
