Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse Sioux City, IA. This position involves providing patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team within a facility that performs outpatient surgeries and infusion procedures. The role requires flexibility to float within the same discipline across local campuses, ensuring efficient patient management and adherence to clinical protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days Shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Iowa state license; BLS (American Heart Association) certification; ACLS (American Heart Association) certification; Driver's License; 2 years of clinical experience; Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission; Copy of required certifications; References - 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission; Work history/resume required.
• Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification; EPIC Electronic Medical Record experience; Experience with outpatient surgeries and infusion medications (including blood products, IVIG, IV fluids, antibiotics no chemotherapy); Experience with infusion titrations.
• Additional Information: Must have all required and preferred certifications and licensure completed prior to start. Candidate must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility, except in Madison where local candidates with a 10% rate reduction are accepted.
• Call and Overtime Details: One weekend per month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), approximately four weekday calls per month, with potential holiday call coverage. Call shifts may include holiday coverage if needed.
• Orientation Schedule: March 16-17, March 30-31, April 13-14, April 27-28, May 11-12, May 26-27, June 8-9, June 20-21, July 6-7, July 20-21, August 3-4, August 17-18, August 31-September 1, September 14-15, September 28-29, October 12-13, October 26-27, November 9-10, November 23-24, December 7-8, December 21-22.
• Other Requirements: Mandatory reporter; tuberculosis testing as per facility policy; compliance with SOP; patient ratios 3:1; infusion therapy experience (blood, platelets, IVIG, IV fluids, antibioticsno chemotherapy).
