Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry nurses are needed at a healthcare organization in Lufkin, Texas. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a 45-bed facility, with a focus on adult patient populations requiring Medical Surgical and Telemetry services. The scheduled shift is days, with additional hours and coverage as needed, starting as soon as possible.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); 2+ years of experience; location in or near Lufkin, Texas; ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units; pediatric to geriatric patient care experience; experience with MEDHOST electronic medical record system; previous experience working with adult and pediatric patient populations
• Additional Information: Floating may be required if needed by the organization; scrubs are dark navy blue; patient ratio is approximately 6:1; the facility has 45 beds; travelers must be greater than 50 miles from the facility.
