Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart Nurse Fort Myers, FL. This position entails providing specialized cardiac operative care in a cardiovascular operating room setting. The role requires working with a team to ensure the delivery of high-quality surgical nursing services, including call responsibilities and adherence to facility protocols.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour days, with call. Start times may vary. Call is approximately one weekend a month and 1-2 days on weekends, ending at 6:30 a.m.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience working in a Cardiovascular Operating Room with heavy cardiac or open heart procedures; prior travel experience; BLS certification. Must have experience working specifically in a Cardiovascular Operating Room environment; CST certification preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) and familiarity with facility protocols.
• Float: Float rotation may be required; travelers are prioritized for floating, with potential to float to other sister campuses.
