Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nurse position available in Lewes, Delaware. This role involves providing care at the stepdown and intermediate levels within an acute care setting. The position requires the ability to work night shifts, with every other weekend and holiday rotations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with post-cardiac cath care, arterial lines, chest tubes, and administering various infusion medications.

Job Details:

• Locations: Lewes, DE
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license to submit, ACLS certification, BLS certification, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a relevant setting
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with arterial lines, chest tubes, post cardiac cath care, and infusion of medications such as insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, cardene, and neosynephrine
• Additional Information: The unit notes mention the need for flexibility to float to Medical-Surgical (MS) or Medical-Surgical Telemetry units. The role involves working with a patient ratio of 1:4 in a 12-bed unit. The unit is an acute care setting with a focus on stepdown and intermediate care.
