Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a Level IV Trauma Center with a busy and diverse patient population. The role requires experienced healthcare professionals capable of managing a rapid-paced environment and delivering compassionate patient care across all age groups.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Intensive Care (N IHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Electronic Pediatric Nursing Certification (ENPC), First-Time traveler with at least 3 years of strong ER experience. Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), De-escalation training such as MOAB or CPI.
• Support on the Unit: ED Technicians, Triaging Staff, Phlebotomists, Case Managers, Physical Therapists, Intake Counselors, Public Safety, Respiratory Therapists, Hospitalists, House Supervisors, Surge Call Team, Forensic Team.
• Charting System/Equipment: EPIC electronic medical record system, Alaris infusion pumps, Philips monitors, bedside tele monitoring.
• Floating: Assistance with hard IV sticks and support for other units; will rarely have to take patient assignment outside of the ER.
• Orientation: First day includes login setup, online modules, hospital tour, and EPIC training; subsequent days involve unit orientation based on comfort level.
• Holiday Expectations: Must be available to work 2 nights-eve or day shifts during holidays.
• Additional Notes: Scrubs of any professional color are acceptable. Parking is free in designated areas. The environment is fast-paced with high acuity and utilization at 25%.
