Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for a position in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) located in Sacramento, California. This role involves providing patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment, focusing on recovery and post-procedure monitoring. The RN will collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal recovery outcomes.

Job Details:

Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications:
- 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in nursing or related field
- Procedural Sedation Competency
- Minimum of two (2) years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit environment
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical care experience with pediatrics, preferably in Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, or Post Anesthesia Care Unit settings
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing Procedural Sedation in outpatient settings
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Pain Management injection procedures
Additional Information:
- Position to start on 08/24/2026 at the Sacramento, California location.
- Candidate must hold all required licenses and certifications.
