Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking a Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician in Everett, Massachusetts. This role involves providing specialized support in the operating room environment, with responsibilities including assisting during surgeries, maintaining sterile conditions, and ensuring patient safety. The position requires flexibility to accommodate variable shift times and on-call duties.

Job Details:

• Shift: Rotating; variable 10-hour shifts, on call on rotation as needed, including holidays and weekends.
• Schedule: 10 hours per shift; minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty, recent experience with endoscopy (ENDO), robotic surgical systems such as Da Vinci, and previous travel experience. Candidate must hold current NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) certification at the time of submission, with a valid drivers license matching the demographics, and an up-to-date resume including two recent manager or supervisor references in the same specialty.
• Preferred Qualifications: EMR experience, particularly with EPIC software; flu vaccination during the applicable season.
• Additional Information: Must be capable of working every other major holiday. RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included at the time of submission and will not be guaranteed after confirmation.
