Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Roseburg, Oregon. This role involves providing patient care in a Level III trauma center ED with a focus on managing general emergency department cases. The position requires night shifts and is suited for qualified nurses ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, scheduled from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with every other weekend requirement and scheduled as per contract.
- Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC certifications; minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience; current license to practice.
- Preferred Qualifications: PALS or ENPC certification is recommended but not mandatory.
- Responsibilities: Managing general ED patient cases, operating in a Level III trauma setting with 21 adult ED beds and 1 trauma bay. ER staff manage their own patient holds with no special holding area; there are 4 psych/seclusion rooms and 2 adaptable crisis rooms. Triage responsibilities are permitted for travelers, with two triage rooms available. In-house security is provided, and the ED handles approximately 125 patients per day. The team includes 24/7 coverage with ED physicians, mid-level providers, charge nurses, and support staff.
