Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse - Step Down Unit is responsible for providing specialized patient care within a hospital setting, managing a designated group of patients with a focus on recovery and stabilization. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing services, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and demonstrating leadership in ensuring optimal patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid PA Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73 certifications; 2 years of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Additional Information: The nurse will utilize evidence-based practices to support clinical improvements, engage in quality assurance initiatives, and provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs. Flexibility and adaptability to changing clinical environments are essential.
