Job Summary:
Hospital Medical Surgical Nurse specializing in Telemetry located in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves providing comprehensive clinical care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to hospital protocols and standards. The position requires skilled nursing professionals capable of managing a diverse patient population with a focus on patient safety and quality care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Nursing (RN or applicable license), Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related degree, Iowa nursing license, 3 years of experience in Medical Surgical with Telemetry, and at least 1 year of recent inpatient hospital experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic medical records systems, BLS certification, and familiarity with hospital SOPs.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, interpreting telemetry strips, and coordinating patient care. Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team.
