Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Department Nurse in Des Moines, Iowa. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in the obstetrics setting, supporting women during labor, delivery, and postpartum. The role requires flexibility to work night shifts and adhere to specific facility procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

Shift: Nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM) with estimated total hours of 12 per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Certified in labor and delivery nursing, with a valid nursing license in the state of Iowa. No minimum experience requirement.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation programs, and IV hydration management.
Additional Information: Facility fixed notes specify work hours from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with the possibility of extra hours or on-call duties based on unit needs.
