Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse in Wilson, North Carolina. This position offers an opportunity to work in a busy hospital setting specializing in telemetry services with a focus on adult and geriatric patient care. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care in a collaborative environment, supporting cardiac and other critical patient needs.

Job Details:

• Shift: 12-hour shifts, available during days
• Location: Wilson, North Carolina
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, Associate degree (BSN preferred), 1.5+ years of experience, EKG interpretation and critical thinking skills, manage discharges and admissions, basic cardiac drip knowledge, local rate: $68.00 (candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with managing discharges and admissions, familiarity with cardiac protocols, experience with Meditech EMR, managing adult and geriatric patient populations
• Additional Information: Unit features a patient ratio of 5:1 or 6:1, equipped with Welch Allyn vital signs machines, Hoyer lifts with weight scales, Abbott glucometers, computers on wheels, TR band, Baxter IV pumps. The unit cares for patients diagnosed with CHF, CP, ARF, COPD, uncontrolled diabetics, CKD, and post-cardiac catheter care. The role is team-oriented and requires flexibility.
