Job Summary

Intensive Care Unit Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a healthcare facility located in Damariscotta, Maine. This role involves working in a specialized unit focused on surgical patients within a critical care environment. Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure in the state of Maine, 5 years of clinical experience in an ICU or surgical critical care setting, v asoactive drips, ventilators, and ICU equipment familiarity, current certifications as applicable (e.g., BLS, ACLS)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in ICU or surgical critical care units, familiarity with ventilators and vasoactive medication management
• Additional Information: Position involves occasional float to other units as needed. The role requires a down-to-earth, team-oriented, proactive personality with high standards. The dress code is navy blue scrubs. The hospital has 8 beds with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 4:1, equipped with ventilators, ceiling lifts, plumb pumps, feeding tubes, chest tubes, SCD boots, and an electronic medical record system.
