Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse in GOLDSBORO, North Carolina. The Clinical Nurse will provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in a hospital setting. The role involves coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process, with a focus on complex problem management, patient assessment, care planning, and patient education.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing; licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers (AHA or ARC); minimum of 2 years of current intermediate care or step-down experience focusing on intermediate care patients
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing
• Additional Information: This is a FLOAT POOL position. The role requires active participation in patient assessment, education, discharge planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and adherence to healthcare standards and regulatory guidelines. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in patient care, safety management, communication systems usage, and cost-effective care promotion.
