Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in Seattle, Washington. This position involves providing care in a busy emergency department setting, with a focus on vascular access procedures including PICC, Midline, and Ultrasound Guided Peripheral IV insertions. The role requires floating to different units and campuses as needed, ensuring excellent patient care during high-pressure situations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS; relevant experience including vascular access procedures, ultrasound-guided IV placement, and working in emergency department environments. Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience, with current community hospital and trauma level experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, charting system experience with Epic, and trauma level I or II experience.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (required).
• Additional Information: The role involves working with adult and pediatric emergency patients, with responsibilities including arterial blood gas interpretation, procedural sedation, airway management, and trauma care. The unit is supported by interdisciplinary teams including respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and social services. The assignment begins on 08/10/2026, with orientation hours of 12.
