Description

Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. This position involves providing exceptional patient care within a busy Labor and Delivery (L&D) department. The role requires clinical expertise in obstetrical care, working with neonates and adults, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/10/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery, certifications in BLS and ACLS, Epic electronic charting system experience, and EPIC or AWHONN advanced and intermediate certifications
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior charge nurse experience, community hospital experience, Level I or Level II trauma experience, travel experience required, and experience with patient ratios of 4 in both day and night shifts, weekends included
  • Floats: As needed
  • Call Requirement: Candidate must be available for call shifts
  • Holidays: As needed
  • Additional Information: Candidates may care for COVID-19 patients. The facility maintains a tobacco- and fragrance-free environment; notify travelers prior to submission. RTO requests should be maximized to 7 days. Local candidates within 50 miles will be offered a lower base rate.
  • Unit Details: Neonates and adults, daily census of 8, 14 beds, interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Must hold current AHA or ARC certifications. Pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, mammography technologists, and OR technicians must meet additional standards outlined separately.
  • Other Requirements: Upcoming modules and EKG testing within 72 hours of signing travel contracts.
