Description
Job Summary:
The position of Surgical Technician in the Labor and Delivery department is based at a healthcare facility in Aurora, Colorado. This assignment involves working in a specialized clinical setting, supporting obstetric procedures, and ensuring safety and sterility protocols are maintained. The role offers an engaging opportunity to assist with both C-sections and vaginal deliveries in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Shift: 12-Hour Days, from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with varying weekends approximately every other week
- Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology, Surgical Technician Certification, BLS Certification
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Client reserves the right to float or reassign personnel within thirty-five (35) miles of the original facility to fulfill scheduled hours, according to clinical competence
- Additional Information:
- First-time travelers will not be considered
- No Requested Time Off (RTO) will be approved within the first two weeks of the assignment
- Medical and religious exemption requests are permitted
- Travel to the assigned facility in Aurora, Colorado, is required
