Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse position available in Fairfield, Iowa. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. The successful candidate will also guide patient education and oversee ancillary personnel activities, ensuring adherence to professional nursing standards.

Job Details:

• Location: Fairfield, Iowa
• Schedule: Rotating shift; 12-hour night shifts (6:00 pm 6:30 am) with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association, immunization requirements including MMR, Varicella, Polio, Hepatitis B, TDaP, flu vaccination during flu season, negative 2-step Mantoux or QuantiFERON Gold within 1 year of start, physical within 1 year, 10-panel drug screen within 1 month, respiratory fit test within 1 year, criminal background check within 30 days, sex offender registry check within 30 days, Iowa Mandatory Reporter Certificates for Child Abuse and Dependent Adult Abuse, and completion of CareLearning education modules prior to start.
• Additional Information: This position requires adherence to the facility's fixed notes and policies. Candidates must provide proof of employment and health requirements within five business days prior to the contract start date. The start date for this assignment is August 10, 2026.
