Job Summary:
Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is sought for a facility located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The position involves providing high-level patient care in the Cardiac Care Unit (CVICU) with experience covering the Coronary Care Unit. The RN will work in a community-focused environment, supporting patients and their families while maintaining clinical excellence. The role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact locally, contributing to a close-knit healthcare team.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 12-hour nights including weekend rotation; must be willing to be in the call rotation and take one call shift per two-week period, if staffing needs require. Must agree to float to acute care (med-surg) if needed.
- Required Qualifications: Colorado RN license in good standing; BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association; strong CVICU skills with Day 0 CVICU experience; 3 years RN critical care experience; ability to meet the travel radius rule (minimum 75 miles from the facility); out-of-state agencies must register in the Colorado system and clarify their location.
- Additional Information: Housing potential includes newly remodeled studio and small one-bedroom apartments located half a block from the facility, available for travel nurses during their assignment, with no deposit required. The position start date is August 4, 2026, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
