Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Fort Bragg, California. This role involves delivering coordinated surgical nursing care within a busy OR environment. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, providing team leadership, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, starting 08/03/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; at least 1 year of experience in an acute care facility; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from approved vendors.
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of operating room procedures and protocols; previous OR experience preferred.
- Additional Information: The OR Nurse collaborates with surgical teams, participates in patient discharge planning, delegates tasks appropriately, and maintains a safe and healing environment for patients. The role may require on-call duties and weekend shifts.
