Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Medical (ICU MEDICAL) registered nurses are needed at a leading healthcare organization in Anchorage, Alaska. These positions involve providing critical care to adult patients with complex medical and surgical conditions. The role requires a dedicated professional to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Alaska registered nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), at least 2 years of clinical ICU experience, and experience with Epic charting system.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neuro interventions, cardiac surgeries, trauma, stroke, respiratory failure, and spinal cord injuries.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
  • Additional information:
    • Assignment length is 13 weeks with an ASAP start date.
    • Candidates must have a license in hand or a pending license accepted with a subsequent license in hand for auto-offer.
    • Candidates cannot be local and must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
    • The position involves floating within scope to meet facility needs, including possible coverage for call-offs.
    • The hospital is a magnet facility with Level II trauma designation, featuring 407 staffed beds.
    • No holidays will be assigned; travelers should be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays.
    • References (2) covering at least one year within the last 3 years are required.
