Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This position involves providing specialized care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiovascular conditions at a 55-bed unit. The role requires flexibility to float within similar units as needed, with a focus on cardiovascular patient management during night shifts.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Two years of relevant experience, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications preferred, valid license, and ability to work in adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cardiovascular experience, and scrub color flexibility.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit has a daily census of approximately 38 patients, specializing in cardiovascular diagnoses such as CHF, STEMI/NSTEMI, and post-cardiac procedures. Experience with cardiac telemetry, IV management, and critical care procedures is essential. Orientation is 24 hours onsite; all modules are completed during orientation and recorded via transcripts. Once contracted, labs should be completed within 48 business hours.
