Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) Marquette, Michigan. This position involves providing specialized care within a 225-bed specialty hospital, including cardiac, trauma, and stepdown patient populations. The RN will be responsible for monitoring cardiac patients, managing cardiac drips, chest tubes, and delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Location: Marquette, Michigan
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neuro ICU (NIH); 1 year of experience; qualifications applicable across Medical Surgical Telemetry units.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PCU or stepdown patient populations, low-level Intensive Care Unit (ICU) skills; proficiency in managing chest pain, Stroke/TIA, pre/post open heart surgery, pacemakers, heart blocks, vascular conditions, and Congestive Heart Failure (CHF).
• Additional Information: The unit cares for cardiac population with trauma and stepdown levels of care, utilizing telemetry monitoring with Cerner electronic health records. The team values teamwork and dedication to high-quality patient care.
