Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This position involves providing competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting, utilizing the nursing process to deliver comprehensive patient care. The role requires coordination with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to clinical standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of Nursing; licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC); at least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Additional Information: The position involves patient assessment, care planning, point of care testing, discharge planning, patient education, safety management, complex problem-solving, and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates will participate in ongoing education programs and performance improvement activities to promote cost-effective, high-quality patient care.
