Description

Job Summary:
This ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing position is located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role involves providing care in a 34-bed Surgical and Trauma ICU that serves patients requiring surgical, trauma, and transplant services, including kidney, liver, and pancreas transplants. The position offers a night shift schedule, with three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend. Nurses are expected to float to other ICU and Stepdown units as needed to ensure optimal patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: 2 years of registered nurse (RN) experience minimum in an intensive care unit (ICU); EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) or charting experience; 1 year travel nursing experience; 1 year of Level 1 adult trauma designated hospital experience or equivalent within the last 5 years
  • Preferred Qualifications: Surgical ICU or Trauma ICU experience
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: The role involves working in a high-acuity surgical and trauma ICU, with patient ratios typically 1:2 and, during low acuity periods, 1:3. The nurse is expected to collaborate in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality patient care, and to provide support across multiple unit types as needed.
