Job Summary:
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Plattsburgh, NY. This assignment involves working in the IMCU for a duration of approximately 13 to 16 weeks, starting on August 10, 2026. The role requires floating to different units as needed and features night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications including American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); NIHSS required prior to start. Minimum of 1 year telemetry (tele) experience required. Experience with insulin drips, cardiac drips, starting IVs, and post-cardiac catheterization care. Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience from within the past 2 years is mandatory. Valid New York license or proof of application with applied date required in application; note that New York licensing takes 6-8 weeks, which will be considered for start date and offer timing.

• Additional Information:
  • The assignment runs from Monday to Sunday, with no block scheduling permitted.
  • Bi-weekly orientations are scheduled on Mondays.
  • Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
  • All work history details (e.g., bed count, EMR, facility type) are required in the application for submission.
  • Reliable transportation is strongly recommended, as public transportation is not accessible. Vehicle equipped with all-season or snow tires is advised during November through April.
