Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurses are needed at a healthcare facility located in Park Ridge, Illinois. This role involves providing specialized care for neonatal patients with various diagnoses, including respiratory issues, congenital anomalies, hematology/oncology needs, and post-operative care. The position offers an opportunity to work in a Level III and Level IV NICU environment, supporting a team dedicated to high-quality patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Illinois Nursing License, BLS, NRP; 2 years NICU experience with Level III or IV NICU experience; in addition, the candidate must have experience with the specified patient types and skills listed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac patients above, EPIC system proficiency, and additional neonatal critical care skills
• Support within the Department: CNA required, Neonatologist, RT 24/7, Hospitalist 24/7, NNPs, and other specialized support staff available to assist
• Technology/Equipment: EPIC Electronic Medical Record, Alaris IV Pump, Pyxis Med Dispensing, Med Sonic Monitors
• Floating: May float within Oak Lawn and Park Ridge facilities to appropriate units as needed
• Orientation: Neonatal orientation provided on each campus
• Scheduling: Every other weekend rotation, no on-call required, work holidays 75% of the time, 6-week schedule cycle received 2 weeks prior
• Other Notes: Scrubs provided, free parking, team-oriented and friendly unit culture
