Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse position located in the Chicago suburb. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for neonatal patients in a Level III and IV NICU setting, with the ability to float between two campuses. The assignment is scheduled to start on 08/10/2026, with the scheduled shifts being 12 hours overnight shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Illinois Nursing License, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), 2 years NICU experience in Level III or IV NICU settings, with experience in managing trachs, vents, chest tubes, Foley catheters, surgical drains, arterial lines, blood draws, IV starts, CPAP, high flow, oscillators, central lines, dressing changes, heliox, nitric respiratory support, and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Additional Information: Must be able to travel and float between campuses in Oak Lawn and Park Ridge. Orientation includes NICU-specific training on each campus. The unit fosters a team-oriented and friendly culture. Support services include CNA assistance, receptionists, charge nurses, IV/VAT teams, resource nurses (pending staffing), RTs, hospitalists, neonatologists, and NNPs. Technology equipped with EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and Med Sonic monitors. Scrubs will be provided, and free parking is available.
• Other Notes: Scrub color will be provided. Travelers will work approximately 75% of holidays. No on-call requirement. The shift cycle is 6 weeks, with scheduling released two weeks prior.
