Job Summary:
Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit - Youngstown, OH. This position involves providing high-quality patient care within the ICU, adhering to safety standards and clinical best practices. Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required prior to first shift. Candidates should possess at least two (2) years of bedside clinical experience. No specific experience minimum is specified beyond clinical experience and certifications.

  • Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission to develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to facilitate care and discharge planning.
  • Documents assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and timely.
  • Participates in patient rehabilitation programs and supports continuity of care by effective communication.
  • Provides supervision to ancillary nursing personnel, delegates tasks appropriately, and maintains a safe environment.
  • Contributes to team building and a positive work environment by providing calm direction and reassurance.
  • Maintains communication with management regarding supplies, equipment, and clinical training.
  • Assumes charge responsibilities following orientation and actively pursues professional development.
