Description

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is needed in the Wisconsin region. This position involves providing critical care on a 12-hour rotating shift, with responsibilities including managing various levels of patient care in a busy ICU setting. The assignment is scheduled to start on August 3, 2026, for a 13-week contract period.

Job Details:

Schedule: 12-hour day/night rotating shifts, a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Wisconsin or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (Basic Life Support), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications (AHA or ARC certifications accepted); Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing; at least 2+ years of ICU experience required; previous travel experience required; Epic charting experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Float: Potential for float to medical-surgical units and other regional locations including Wisconsin Rapids, Plover, and Divine Savior
Additional Information:
- The unit features 32 beds across three levels of care, including ICU, step-down, and medical-surgical care
- Candidates must be resilient, hardworking, adaptable to change, and socially professional
- Scrubs should be worn in any professional-colored attire
- The assignment includes potential for low census hours and associated on-call duties, with a minimum of 2-hour callback time
- During flu season, declination of flu and COVID-19 vaccinations requires wearing a mask at all times, with no exceptions
