Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is sought for a facility located in New Albany, Ohio. This position involves working dayshift hours, providing patient care in the recovery area following anesthesia procedures. The role includes scheduled shifts with additional call responsibilities, requiring flexibility in after-hours coverage.

Job Details:

• Shift: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, from 0500 to 1730 hours, with call duties scheduled as follows: weekday call is 10 hours from 1900 to 0500; weekend call is 24 hours from 0500 to 0500. Nurses are not required to be on-site if there are no cases during call periods.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); relevant nursing degree; Ohio nursing license or eligibility; no minimum years of experience required, but preferred is at least 1 year of PACU or perioperative nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit or recovery nursing preferred.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The position requires readiness to cover call shifts as scheduled. The facility values adaptability in a fast-paced recovery environment.
