Description

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Open Heart procedures is sought for a travel assignment in Ocala, Florida. This role involves delivering specialized perioperative care within a busy healthcare facility. The successful candidate will support the surgical team during open heart surgeries and related interventions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

Schedule: Day shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse license, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), one or more years of experience in operating room nursing, completion of trauma or perioperative training preferred, and the ability to work in Ocala, Florida
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac or open heart surgery units, certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR), knowledge of hospital SOPs related to cardiac procedures, and familiarity with electronic medical records systems
