Description

Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU CVICU) nursing position available in Prescott, Arizona. This role involves providing specialized critical care for patients with complex cardiovascular diagnoses, requiring experienced and adaptable RNs to meet the departments acuity needs. The position is scheduled for night shifts with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/10/2026.

Job Details:

  • Location: Prescott, AZ
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); minimum of 2 years of ICU Cardiovascular experience; ability to titrate drips such as Dex, Propofol, Dopamine, Norepinephrine, Epinephrine, Levo, Insulin, and others; licensed RN in the state of Arizona; must pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts; experience with IABP, CRRT, and post-Operative Open Heart Surgery (OHS) care; familiarity with Ventilators, Bipap, Cpap, Vapotherm, and HiFlow; in-room monitors and Cerner charting system.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Impella experience is desirable.
  • Additional Information: Unit requires float as needed to ICU, Progressive Care Unit, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry departments across both campuses. In-room monochrome monitors only; no RNs reading strips. Department requires initial orientation specific to the ICU CVICU. Must work two weekend shifts per pay period and participate in holiday coverage.
