Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Eagle River, Wisconsin. This position involves working in an 8-bed emergency room with Level IV trauma designation. The ER nurse will deliver high-quality patient care during 12-hour night shifts and may be required to float to other nearby locations within a 40-mile radius. The role begins on August 3, 2026, and offers a 13-week contract engaging experienced professionals in a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Associate Degree or Certificate, and at least 2+ years of emergency department experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other Aspirus locations within a 40-mile radius, including facilities in Howard Young, Tomahawk, and Rhinelander. Floating can be pre-scheduled if needed.
• Additional Information:
  • Facility is active from the start date and may involve working every other weekend and holiday rotations.
  • The contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours.
  • Charting experience with Epic EMR system is required.
  • Scrubs can be any color.
  • The candidate must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility prior to the start date.
  • No facility, hospital, or organization names are included; generic terms are used.
