Job Summary:
The surgical technology professional position is located in a healthcare facility in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. This role involves assisting in the care of surgical patients by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures. The technician is responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, supporting the surgical team, and performing ancillary tasks as needed. The position requires a proactive approach to patient safety and operational efficiency in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Pompton Plains, New Jersey
• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per day, from 07:00 to 19:00, requiring weekend coverage.
• Required Qualifications: High School Graduate or GED; graduate from an accredited surgical technician program; Certified Surgical Technician; Labor & delivery room experience.
• Additional Information: The surgical tech will perform duties including completing patient vitals, performing adult venipuncture, assisting labor and delivery staff with post-delivery patient care, restocking supplies, and setting up in patient rooms. Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds and tolerate long periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
