Description
Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position is located in Iowa City, Iowa. This role involves providing specialized critical care in a medical intensive care setting during night shifts. The position requires the ability to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on trauma experience and proficiency with electronic medical records.
Job Details:
- Location: Iowa City, Iowa
- Position: ICU - Intensive Care Unit
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid Iowa license or compact license, at least 2 years of ICU experience with Level 1 trauma experience, proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records, and current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Preferred Qualifications: Level 1 trauma center experience is highly preferred
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information:
Candidates should possess strong critical care skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare team. No local candidates within 60 miles will be considered, and all applicants must meet the specified experience and certification criteria to be eligible.
