Description
Job Summary:
This is a Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse position located in Birmingham, Alabama. The role involves providing patient care on a medical surgical unit, with a focus on delivering quality nursing services in a fast-paced environment. The position requires previous experience in the specialty and travel experience, with specific technical skills such as Cerner electronic health record system proficiency for early starters. The schedule is night shifts, and the assignment is slated to start on August 10, 2026.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Medical Surgical specialty, travel experience, active compact or Alabama license, Cerner experience if starting before 07/25, and eligibility from August 10, 2026.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on similar unit types, familiarity with hospital protocols and electronic health records.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The assignment is at a healthcare facility in Birmingham, Alabama. RTO requests between July 19 and August 8 cannot be approved, and the start date is August 10, 2026. No travel is required for this position.
