Description

Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in Portland, Oregon. This role involves providing patient care in a short-term acute care facility, supporting adult and geriatric patients via telemetry and medical-surgical units. The position offers a night shift schedule and requires adaptability to float across units based on patient care needs.

Job Details

Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/17/2026
Required Qualifications: 2 years of related experience, current BLS certification, valid license, experience with electronic charting systems, valid driver's license, and ability to float between units.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with telemetry and medical-surgical units, prior work in short-term acute care settings, and familiarity with Epic charting system.
Float: Several medical-surgical units, float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: Candidates must have experience with insulin administration, oral suctioning, colostomy/ileostomy management, and care of bowel obstruction patients. Must have a vehicle for the assignment. Flexibility to work holidays is required, along with upfront scheduling requests. Floating between sister facilities may be necessary. References: Two recent references covering at least one year of work.
