Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a registered nurse specializing in Mother/Baby Couple Care in Chandler, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for postpartum patients and their newborns, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based practice in accordance with organizational standards and professional nursing guidelines. The nurse will contribute to positive patient outcomes through dedicated care coordination, education, and collaboration with the healthcare team.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift (12 hours) with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, with BLS certification. Experience in a maternal/bobay care setting is preferred. Candidate should demonstrate a minimum of one year recent clinical experience in an acute care environment within the past 12 months.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and professional certification related to maternal and neonatal care are preferred.
- Additional Information: This position supports postpartum and newborn care, requiring assessment, care planning, patient education, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to promote optimal outcomes for mothers and infants. The role may involve moderate physical activity, including lifting up to 75 pounds, as well as adherence to strict safety and infection control protocols.
