Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Mother/Baby Couplet Care in Chandler, Arizona. The position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and their newborns, ensuring safety, comfort, and education. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards, promoting optimal outcomes for mothers and infants.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification is required. Experience in maternal/newborn nursing is preferred, and clinical performance competencies must be maintained through annual validations.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred. Additional related education and/or experience are advantageous.
• Additional Information: The RN will assess maternal and neonatal health status, develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and educate new parents. Documentation must be timely, legible, and accurate, reflecting objective and subjective patient data, nursing interventions, and responses to care. The role may include supervising other staff and participating in quality improvement activities, professional development, and patient education.
